jain university and reva university and acharya institutes in these three colleges which is the best college for information science engineering?

Subhrajit Mukherjee 29th Jun, 2021

When you are talking about a professional course then you should be concerned three factors:

  • Placements
  • Infrastructure
  • Faculty

The three university you have mentioned are well institutes. Now to compare them you have to search for the above provided parameters and get the best college which provide the parametric maxima.

On analyzing the colleges websites and information online, I would recommend you to go for Reva University. Reva University have great infrastructure. It has some amazing lab and library facilities which is a great option for the students. Also the labs are very well equipped. The faculties are well educated and experienced as well as involve in active research. The placement offers are better here with a average package of around Rs. 4 LPA.

So I would say that you should go for REVA UNIVERSITY. Now as its your career your opinion matters the most. Thus I would say you should compare the parameters by yourself and if you feel that my answer is justified then only go for my recommendation else you should go what you think will be the best.

can a student in 12th who took bio science ,go for computer science engineering or information science engineering (are they same)?

ginnisachdeva02_9364270 Student Expert 25th Jun, 2021

Hi Aspirant!

To join the engineering in the field of Computer science or Information Technology, it is necessary to have mathematics as subject in 10+2 class. Even the candidates who have taken Phyiscs, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) as mandatory subjects but have take mathematics as additional subjects can join the CSE/IT in some of the engineering colleges. But without mathematics it is not possible to pursue engineering.

Thankyou!

what is the mains percentile cut off required for information science in pes?

Anurag Khanna 7th May, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

It seems that you want to ask about Information Technology branch because through JEE-Main you get Information Technology not Information Science branch.

So, there is no any minimum percentile required to be eligible for admission in NITs/IIITs for any category or any branch because the seat allotment process is based on the rank of candidate but if you are General candidate and wants to get IT branch into any good institution then you should at least try for 98+ percentile in JEE-Main 2021 for top NITs/IIITs and for average NITs 96+ percentile will also be the decent score.

However based on previous year's cut-off trends we can help you with the expected qualifying cut-offs for this year :-

  • Common Rank List (CRL) - 90- 95 Percentile
  • GEN-EWS - 70- 75 Percentile
  • Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 70- 75 Percentile
  • Scheduled Caste (SC) - 50- 55 Percentile
  • Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 40- 45 Percentile
  • PwD - 1-2 Percentile

Note that in above table it is not the actual cut-off for JEE-Main 2021 but expected on the basis of previous year's analysis. You can check out previous year's cut-off trends from the link given below :-

i got 21351 rank in kcet i am 3AG category will i get cse or information science in new horizon college

Tarreni Behera 2nd Dec, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

You have secured an extremely high rank in KCET and with such a high rank, it is going to be extremely difficult for you to get admission in a good engineering colleges including the government institutes of the state. It is so because such colleges have a very limited number of seats and provide admission to students with a much better rank than yours. The number of seats are so limited that it pales in comparison to the number of applicants.

Although you have a 3AG Category, still you are going to need a very good quota rank to back up your contention for a seat in a good college. Furthermore the number of reservation seats available are also very less and hence it is going to be even more intense.

In case you want to know the colleges that you can get admission in based on your rank, then all you need to do is to just click on this URL:-

https://www.careers360.com/kcet-college-predictor?ici=cp-listing_root&icn=KCET-College-Predictor

This shall give you a list of colleges that you can get admission in based on your rank through counselling process.

As far your chances of admission in New Horizon College is concerned, you can know that by knowing it's cutoff by visiting this link:-
