I would suggest first not to consider any correspondence course. They have been banned by the Supreme Court and you will waste your money and time on it. So please go for a regular course. IPU offers M.Tech in IT and Thapar offers Information Secutiry, Software Engineering. While IPU

I am slightly confused by your question. I am assuming you are talking of the IT course and the Hardware maintenance course offered in Kerala. If yes, well they are different courses. Hi,

Correspondence and Private courses are now banned by the Supreme court. So don''t join them at all. If you are so interested in joining engineering and specializing in IT, it is still better to go for a regular course . If that is not possible, enrol for evening classes.

You can definitely take up Btech and learn indepth technical aspects, But it is generally not advisable and neither recommended for two reasons namely:--

1. The salary range is somewhat similar to Bsc for average colleges of Engineering.
2. The time to complete Btech is 4 years , so total
