As per your mentioned query , I would like to inform you that if you will get an admission in government college and you want to leave your current private college then it is not possible to get your whole fees refund. As per the guidelines of each and every private institutions they have some rules and regulations for refunding the fees. The refund will be possible only within one or two days of starting the session. So , firstly have a look about the rules and regulations of your college then you will be sure to know that either your college refund your money or not.

No, you cannot get admission into B.Tech Mechanical Engineering branch or any other B.Tech course in IEM College of Engineering, Kolkata without any entrance exam.

For getting admission into B.Tech courses in IEM College of Engineering, Kolkata WBJEE and JEE Mains entrance exams are considered. They also provide NRI quota seats and Foreign student quota seats.

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam in science stream from a recognised Board or College.

Yes , iem Kolkata is worth for its computer science branch. It is considered to be the second best college in west bengal after jadavpur university. The cut offs stays high for this branch and the cse core branch closes upto 2k rank.

It's specialisation branches have a bit lower cut offs like upto 3.5k. Although various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

There are many colleges under WBJEE with dress code and many without dress code. Depending on the college you can either wear the uniform or not. It all depends on the college. Yes,IEM is a good private engineering college.IEM(Institute of Engineering and Management) is located in Kolkata, West Bengal. The infrastructure is very good. Facilities include libraries, auditoriums, smart boards, wifi, canteen, well equipped laboratories, hostel and many more.

The faculty members are helpful. Many students get placed in top companies like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Infosys, Microsoft, Capgemini and so on. For core branches the highest package which was offered was 12 LPA and for other branches it is 8 to 9 LPA.

The average package offered was 4LPA. This college offers many courses like MBA, B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering, B.Tech Electronics and Communication, BBA, BCA, B.Tech Artificial Intelligence, B.Tech Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, B.
