NMIMS Indore has very recently been established compared to which the Mumbai campus has been around for 35+ years.
Up until now the first batch hasn't even graduated from the Indore Campus so there's no data to make the comparison.
Even without the data it can be very easily inferred that atleast as of now the Indore campus is nowhere near as good as the one in Mumbai

Hello biswajit,
As you asked for a suggestion between IBS and IMT I would suggedt you go for IBS Hyderabad as it is far better than IMT Hyderabad though there are better colleges than both of them. However if you have only these two choices then go for IBS Hyderabad.
In case of placement IBS get a plus point over IMT that play an important role for a student.
Hope it helps .
Thank you:)
Hello Smriti,
The order of preference from the above colleges should be -
1. IMT, Hyderabad
2. Bimtech, Noida
3. BITS, Pilani
This order is after taking into account the learning environment, placements and faculty. IMT, Hyderabad would definitely be a good choice because it comes under the IMT flagship.
Hope this helps you.
All the best!
Please do tell in case you have any further queries.
Hello Kishore,
Fees for PGDM course irrespective of the specialization, offered by the Institute of Management and Technology, Hyderabad is 12 lacs including hostel fees, mess charges, and tuition fees.
Hope this answers your query, feel free to ask for more info.
Hi Soumya!
Yes, IMT Hyderabad has a cut off of 70 percentile and you might as well have a chance to convert the same with a decent personal interview. IMT Hyderabad offers different courses like PGDM and Executive Postgraduate program in management and you could opt for whichever suits your profile.
The fees for the first year is somewhere around 6.4 lakhs and 5.5 lakhs for the second year. The average package of the institution is around 6-7 lakhs and the highest package has been said as 20 lakhs. Though the college offers various programs, getting to know about the faculty and facilities is quite important and thus it is advisable for you to contact with the alumni to inquire about the same. That could be done in LinkedIn and you'd find the required information from them which is usually genuine.
Since the college has a brand name IMT, the facilities and programs are expected to be of high quality and one could gain the required skills to work in the corporate world later on. It is said to have been placed among the top 25 private colleges in India with their curriculum and infrastructure.
the various recruiters that usually come for placement are Deloitte, Amazon, Coffee Day, ICICI, SBI Life Insurance, Infosys, Cognizant, Wallmart, Tata Capital, Duke India, etc and they offer various profiles ranging from finance, marketing to HR. The specialization in the PGDM program can be chosen in the second year based upon your interests and you can choose the companies to sit for accordingly. The profiles range from Marketing, consulting, corporate finance, Corporate HR, Risk Analytics, Insurance, and sales. The summer internship is provided by the college and you can have a chance to work closely with the corporate world even before you graduate from college. Sometimes a pre-placement offer is also received and it thus becomes vital for you to hone your skills while taking up a management education.
That being said, it's important to prepare for your personal interview as they est you on various sills, business communication, basic knowledge about the course and your aspirations.
Good luck. Feel free to contact for further queries.
Hello Shagun,
Institute of Management Technology, Hyderabad offers admissions to its P.G.D.M. program through CAT, XAT, CMAT and GMAT. The admission process takes place in two steps, the candidate has to apply via online mode and on the basis of the scores in the above mentioned exams, candidates are shortlisted for interview. The final selection is done on the basis of the cumulative scores of entrance exams and interviews.
As for your question, there is a chance that if all the seats are not filled, then the college calls the candidates who are next in line according to the entrance exam scores.
Hi Divyanshu.
I will provide youwith my reviews on all the three bschools mentioned by you and then you can select and make a choice accordingly.
Jaypee business school, Noida - In terms of infrastructure, JBS has one of the best infrastructure among colleges in Delhi. Huge parking lots, advanced equipped classrooms and labs, wifi equipped hostels, spacious auditorium, big lecture theatres are just some of the good features in this bschool. The Faculty is qualified and experieced in their respective fields. This college offers an ample of industry experience and various market leaders are invited to the college to give more and more industry exposure and to make students experience real life business. The placements are quite low, an average package being of 3.5-4.5 lac per annum.
On the other hand, the IMT group has campuses with a legacy of 30 years of educational excellence. MBA requires brand value and IMT provides a lot of it. So, between JBS Noida and IMT Hyderabad, IMT Hyderabad would be a better choice.
Now, to compare IMT Nagpur and IMT Hyderabad. Both have experienced and top notch faculties. Both have average placement packages of 6-7 Lac per annum.
IMT Nagpur is older than IMT Hyderabad. This means a better alumni network which helps a lot during and post MBA. Whereas IMT Hyderabad has a location advantage over Nagpur which plays a big role at the time of placements.
Overall, you need to weigh your requirements as per the college and then make a decision. Both ways, IMT is an esteemed brand to be a part of. So, All the best!
Hi Dimple.
Greetings.
NIA Pune has a percentile in excess of 80 in CMAT and 60 in CAT whereas the cutoff is 125 marks or 70 percentile, which ever is higher for IMT Hyderabad in CMAT.
Christ Bangalore has a percentile of around 70 in CMAT and CAT both.
There is better chance of getting a call from IMT Hyderabad and Christ Univeristy.
All the Best.
Hi Prachi, in comparison to both the b schools, Welingkar Bangalore is the better of the two. Firstly, the location of Welingkar, Bangalore is a big advantage with respect to placements. They offer an average package of 7-8 lpa in comparison to IMT Hyderabad which offers average package of 6.5 lpa. Even in comparison to fees Welingkar has a slight lower fees in comparison to IMT Hyderabad where the fees is around 12 lpa. The faculty and academics are more or less similar. The batch size is small in IMT Hyderabad compared to Welingkar Bangalore.
Hi Prachi, on comparison of both I would say IBS Hyderabad is way better than IMT Hyderabad. IBS Hyderabad has a very good academic syllabus which is at par with the Harvard standards. The package wise also IBS Hyderabad has an edge over IMT wherein the average package at IMT is around 6.5 lpa whereas in IBS it is around 8-9 lpa. The fees is slightly higher in IBS and the batch size is quite big in IBS which are some of the disadvantage of IBS, but according to placements and teaching and syllabus standards, it is IBS which makes it the best among the two, although both the colleges are top in Hyderabad domicile.
