    Im considering joining IPE Hyderabad for my PGDM. The institute is approved by AICTE, AIU, NBA and also a member of AACSB and but it does not have NAAC accreditation. Will this affect my eligibility for government PSU jobs?

    Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE) Hyderabad is approved by AICTE and AIU, and its PGDM is considered equivalent to an MBA. This makes you eligible for most government and PSU jobs. The institute also has NBA accreditation, which is valid for specific programs. Although it doesn’t have NAAC accreditation, that usually doesn’t affect your eligibility for PSU jobs. Most PSUs focus on AICTE and AIU approval.

    With 976 marks in IPE and a 70 percentile in JEE Mains, you do have a fair chance of getting a seat in Mechanical Engineering at SASTRA University. SASTRA mainly considers both JEE Mains scores and 12th board marks in their admission process. Since your IPE score is quite strong, it can work in your favour.

    Usually, SASTRA uses a combined merit system where 12th marks and JEE Mains percentiles are balanced. For Mechanical Engineering, the closing scores are generally not as high as branches like CSE or ECE, so your chances look reasonably good.

    It's difficult to get into a top college with an EAMCET score of 52,075;

    however, it is possible to get into some private ones.

    Hello Hitesh,

    Based on the marks you scored - 37 marks in EAMCET 2025, you will be disqualified from obtaining a rank as the minimum qualifying mark for the general category is 40 (out of 160). Since you will be disqualified, you will not be able to be assigned a rank, and, therefore, you will not be able to add the IPE (Intermediate) marks to obtain a final rank or any percentile.

    Final rank calculations only consider IPE marks for candidates who are to qualify for the exam (the weightage is generally 25% IPE; 75% EAMCET). So as a result, the fact that you do not have a rank also means that the IPE marks were not considered.

    For AP EAPCET (previously AP EAMCET) 2025, the inclusion of Intermediate Public Examination (IPE) marks will NOT be considered for determining AP EAPCET 2025 ranks. Previously, ranks were calculated using a composite score with 75% weightage from AP EAPCET marks and 25% from IPE group subject marks (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology).

    • You should expect to rank between 30,000 and 40,000 with 40 AP EAPCET points and 25% IPE points.
    • With this rank, you might be able to get into Andhra Pradesh's lower-tier private engineering schools, but you won't likely be able to get into a top government or private university.
