Hello,
It's not clear from your question if you're asking about availability of Interior design course in any particular colleges. Anyway, Universities such as NILM University, Mahatma Gandhi University, Manipal School of Architecture offers BA Interior Design. While there's also a course named BDes Design which is offered by NID and various NIFTs all over India, Pearl Academy of Fashion Management.
Eligibility for aforementioned courses is having passed 10+2 from a recognized board with minimum 50%, there's relaxation of 5% for reserved categories.Admission varies among universities, some conduct entrance while others take admission on merit based.
Hello Abhyudaya Sharma
No, there is no entrance test for Interior Designing Course in St.Xaviers Mumbai. The only eligibility criteria is that the candidate should have 50% aggregate marks in Intermediate/10+2.
The course is a 6 semester course. The fee structure of the course is
General: 1.74 Lakhs
Scheduled Caste: 1.65 Lakhs
Scheduled Tribe: 1.65 Lakhs
The fee may vary a little as it changes every year.
Hope it helps you.
Dear Sutha, cut offs change every year and are dependent on various factors like no.of candidates appearing for the exam, no.of candidates qualifying the exam, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. While the cut offs change every year, the formula remains the same. For General Category, it is 50 percentile of the top NEET score, for PWD, it is 45 percentile and for OBC,SC,ST, it is 40 percentile. Now between 2018 and 2019, the cut offs increased by 15 marks. So it might go higher by 20-25 marks easily this year when compared to last year.
