Anirudh Bhat 24th May, 2019
Hi Dhruval,
Congrats on scoring a 6 pointer in IELTS. Speaking of getting a master's degree which is a post graduation course, to get into Aus/New Zealand you will need a minimum of 6.5 overall in IELTS. No university accepts a student with 6 for a post graduation studies. Sorry.

Good Luck

I have an average score of 6.5 in my ielts test. Is it an eligible score to join the Florence design academy in Italy?

Anjali 17th May, 2019

Any IELTS score above 6 is considered fit enough for resorting to a foreign institute; however, you must look into the institute's rules and regulations and stay facilities in the locality before you actually decide to enter it.

I have an average score in gate2018( 502).. Tell the best option among the following. 1.Mtech in Nits/Iits 2.Ms abroad (Aus).IELTS:7band

Jesin J 15th May, 2019

Hello Saivikas. For doing a masters in engineering, the first thing to be kept in mind is the research facilities, research publications and number of patents of the college, where you are applying. Moreover, your goals also matter while deciding the college. For instance, if you want a job after your masters, go with a college/institute which is more industry oriented. While if you want to continue in research after your masters, go with a college/institute which has more research exposure. Moreover, the faculty profile of the institute should also be kept in mind while applying.

So, whether you choose a IIT/NIT or an abroad institute, do the research of the institute with the points mentioned above in mind.

All the best.
