Hello Aspirant,

It's difficult to tell you the exact about the qualifying cutoff & admission cutoff. This score seems enough to qualify the exam as OBC category but chances seems less to get NITs, IIITs & GFTIs Etc. You can go for state level counselling. I would also suggest you

You have got 95.51 percentile in JEE main that means your rank should be around 39018. If no of student in april month exam will increase then your rank will also increase. You can also calculate your rank as

Hi dear hope you are doing well. As you are not mention your category here assuming you as a general category student you cannot get admission into NIT or IIIT with 79 percentile. For getting admission into NIT with good branch you must secure at least 98 percentile.

To get admission in IIIT you need atleast more than 88 percentile, so you may not get the admission in IIITs but you can admission in some other colleges which are also good.

The allocation of seats is done on the basis of JoSAA counselling 2020. There are total 13376 seats in all IITs.The number might also increase or decrease.

The total number of seats in NITs is around 19k.Avaikabkty of seat might change because the official announcement is not yet made
