It is difficult to get seat in NITs and IIITs with 89 percentile. You have a chance of getting new IIITs but you won't be getting good branch like CSE/ECE/IT. Since, this branches has a lot of competition.

As per your score in jee mains 2019 it is difficult to get NIT, IIIT or GIFT. Generally in order to get any of NIT or IIIT with any branch the minimum percentile required is 97 for general, 94 for obc and 92 for sc or st category
