At this rank, being e general category candidate if you're expecting CSE in any of the NIT, IIIT or GFTI then you're in for a disappointment. You might end up getting the following colleges:

• Northeastern NITs like NIT Manipur, NIT Nagaland etc.
• Aizwal University
• Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology

With this rank it will be difficult for you to get a seat in any of the NITs or IIITs and even if you are able to get a seat there it will be difficult for you to get a good branch. At very best you can try for admission in the colleges in the north-east otherwise you can go for state government colleges and GFTIs. Hope this helps.

With this rank you should be able to get a seat in a NIT or IIIT although you might not be able to get a good branch in the top NITs and IIITs. Although you can try in the other NITs where you might have a better chance of getting a good branch as per your rank. Hope this helps.

IIIT Bhopal would be a better option.

IIIT-Bhopal: First of all it is very important to notice that it's an institute of National level importance. So at least it is far better than any state private or government college. As there are only two batches now it's quite tough to make a college environment like clubs/societies, but still, we are on it and within a semester the college will have all the activities like any other national college. In academic point of view we share faculties of MANIT BHOPAL (because it is our mentor institute) some contract faculties are also there only for us but they are not as far as those of NIT Bhopal. We are allowed to participate in each and every fest/club activities/competitions/seminars of MANIT. So in this way you can consider that we are part of NIT. Hostel facilities as observed and noticed are not good enough. Not only its too far but there are daily general problems also this is the reason 60–70 % of the students are day scholars, and even if you stay in hostels after the first year you have to leave your rooms and find our own accommodations. So overall I can say it's a developing Institute so we can't judge it now anyways but my personal experience till now is good.

The new campus will most probably be available for the new batch.The new campus is in a 50 acres area, with much better infrastructure than the present campus.
