my JEE Main percentile is 96.19. rank is 42807. which NIT, IIIT, GFTI can I get?

Hello,

If you belong to general or OBC category then with this rank it's difficult to get NIT's IIIT'S or GFTI's. However if you have state quota and some other sorts of reservation then you might get one.

You can try for north eastern NIT's since their cutoffs are low.

To get admission in any of the NITs, the minimum required percentile score is 98+%ile.

As you are a reserved category candidate, there are chances for you to get admission in NIT.

Hi aspirant

You won't get any decent engineering college.You haven't scored enough to get NITs/IIITs and GFTIs .So you can try for state engineering colleges.

You can apply to state engineering colleges of your home state through state counselling.You may get that.

according to your percentile, the probable rank of yours is about 1.32lacs .

It would be difficult to tell you the exact about EWS reservation as NTA has provided for the first time reservation for this category in JEE Main Entrance Exam.

But with this rank you can have the chance to get a seat in NITs, IIITs, GFTIs.

It depends upon the JEE Main and JEE Advance cut offs, If You manage to qualify the exam by achieving the cut off, You can apply for JOSAA Counselling. It should be noted the cut off for EWS/SC/ST/FEMALES/OBC category is lower than the general category
