Mechanical Engineering at  NIT is better than IIIT. If you have the option to choose among the two go for NIT for Mechanical Engineering.

There is no reservation norms in IIIT, Hyderabad. There is no SC/ST/BC, women, physically challenged etc. quota or reservation of any kind for IIIT admissions. All admissions are strictly merit based and in open category. IIIT consider JEE Main marks for regular admissions. Completing application phases does not
