According to your  rank in jee mains 2019,you have very less chance to get in any NIT as your rank in your category is very high .Your category rank should be under 5k to get seat in good NITs.

A 82000 rank is not enough for you to get admitted to any iiits not even the newer ones. The cutoff at maximum goes to 35000-40000 for the newest of the iiits. So as per my understanding your rank will not hand you a iiit in the south

hi mohit singh.hope you are doing well.yes you can write gate exam after pursuing dual degree because after the third year of study you become eligible to takeup the exam.so during your fourth year you can write gate and if you manage to clear it then you are eligible for
