IIIT Hyderabad is better than VIT in almost every aspect. First thing is IIIT tag, second peer group at IIIT is far better than VIT as all students are ranker in IIIT, placement of IIIT is very good and international companies visit the campus for placements and take good amount of students. IIIT Hyderabad average package is over 15 lakhs and VIT is around 7-8 lakhs and also new courses are being added at IIIT Hyderabad.

Eligibility criteria for IIIT HYDERABAD is to have minimum 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics ie PCM combination.

Admission is merit based through Jee main score of the candidate

The examination for IIIT Hyderabad, which is IIITH UGEE is set to be conducted on 24th June, 2020. The registration for the same was started on  February 6th, 2020 and ended on 27th April, 2020.

The admit card itself was released on 15th June, 2020. I'm afraid the registration was closed a while ago and thereby, you cannot appear for the examination this year.

IIIT Hyderabad has entrance test named as UGEE and SPEC for admission in Undergraduate course , UGEE is for 5 year integrated BTech and MS course while SPEC for only BTech but seat in SPEC is very less . Now talking about application form it has been closed on 27th April for UGEE and 15 May.

But if you have given JEE Mains you can apply for its counseling as it allows JEE Mains and JEE Advance students to participate in counseling but it has a separate counseling desk than JOSSA. So, you have to apply separetly for IIIT Hyderabad counseling. Counseling channel opens after JEE Advance .

Entrance examination (UGEE) is conducted for admission to B.Tech programmes offered through IIIT

Hyderabad. Admission is done thru other channels also consisting of KVPY, Olympiad, Direct Admissions

for Students Abroad (DASA) and Special Channel of Admission (SPEC).

Exam Pattern is as follows

Test consist of two parts- phase 1 (challenge proficiency take a look at) and phase 2 (studies aptitute

check).

Syllabus for the problem proficiency test is CBSE X1 and XII widespread Physics/Maths/Chemistry.

the exam date of IIIT hyderabad was earlier to be held on 26 april 2020 but due to corona outbreak it has been postponed till any further notice , however the date of exam and admit card is likely to be announced soon , i suggest to stay updated with the official website.

There are merit based and need based scholarships offered at IIIT Hyderabad. According to the official website: https://www.iiit.ac.in/admissions/undergraduate/assistance/ , every student whose household income is less than 8 lakhs per annum is entitled for entire tution fee support. But there is nothing in specific for Candidates  belonging to OBC Category or CSE stream Candidates. This is applicable to Candidates of all Caategories and streams.
