hi,
to get admission in ms 2 years duration course of iiit hyderabad , you need to appear in pgee exam conducts by iiit hyderabad exam authority. syllabus for the test is , you need to choose any of the disciplines between cse or ece or mathematics, however if you have prepared for gate exam and have good grip on the core subjects of ece then you should take ece, see the mathematics questions level will be higher than engineering mathematics since msc passed candidates are also eligible to participate in pgee exam.
hope you may understand.
see ms courses in iits or iiits are researched base and if you have zest to learn new things and want to work as a researcher them I recommend you to go for ms course. the course duration is flexble, 2-3 years and depends on the completion of thesis. ms course syllabus is different from mtech and students who want to do phd or more higher studies or want to do career in education sector should go for ms course. but if job is your main priority you should go for m.tech since mncs are more interested to hire mtech students rather than MS.
