EWS (Economically Weaker Section) are those general category candidates that have low family income so there is a reservation of 10% seats for them.
The cut off/qualifying marks are the same for the EWS category as the general category. There is no benefit when it comes to cut

The main eligibility criteria for JEE mains is that you have to score 75% in PCM. If you don't full fill that, then i am sorry but you won't be allated any college through JEE mains. So, if you want you get a seat in IIIT through JEE
