body language during an interview

Priya Patel 29th Oct, 2021

Hello,

First of all enter inside the office after taking permission. Enter with little smile on your face. Then don't sit until and unless the recruiters or employers tells you to sit. After that, if they ask any question then try to answer the question without getting nervous and without any hesitation. Do shake your legs while having the conversation with the recruiters.

Don't keep the your hands on your front table or desk, it will create bad impression on the recruiters and you might discomfort them with your behaviour. Stay calm during the whole interview round, don't speak loudly while answering nor speak slowly.

Don't be serious all the time, always put a little smile on your face. Keep maintaining eye contact with the recruiters, don't maintain eye contact only with one recruiter but maintain it with everyone present in the interview room. In the end, say Thank You to all the recruiters. Remember, if you don't know the answer then just say I don't know or say I don't have any idea about it.

if we are not selected for interview round is any later entry or not if those who are selected for interview but they deny to take admission in iiit Hyderabad or miss the interview or selected bin jee mains

ksinghh222 6th Dec, 2021

Hello,

see you did not mention the institute name in which you wants to take admission for lateral entry. however generally admission to lateral entry admission to B.tech or B.pharma is based on entrance test follows by counselling or interview rounds. however after clearing entrance test, next stage is interview rounds then you have to get selection for interview rounds for next step to  admission process.

Unless you are not shortlisted for interview you have less chances for final selection / admission.

Thankyou.

Is counselling and personal interview are same? Counselling is a part of selection process ?

Bhawana Kumar 20th Oct, 2021

Read the information below -

Counselling :

While taking admission to institutes from entrance exams like NEET, MHTCET nad others, there is a process of selecting colleges you want to apply and then getting shortlisted with comparison of your scores with other candidates appealing for the same.

IT's a big and time consuming process. It is called as counselling.

In other terms, counselling is considered as act of helping clients to see thing more precisely. Through this counselling, clients can focus on feelings, experiences, behavior with goal of facilitating positive change. Confidentiality is best aspect of successful counselling.

Personal Interview

This interviews are  meetings organized by a recruiter in which he evaluates a potential employee for prospective employment.

However, this meeting should be considered as a two-way process between the candidate and the interviewer.

It is a tool to judge the abilities of a person.

In the face-to-face contact between the interviewer & interviewee, it is possible to record more than only verbal responses; which are often superficial.

So, personal interview and counselling are two different aspects.
