ISRO
Hello aspirant.
If you want to get a job in isro after studying in iiser mohali, you can do the physical science course (BS+MS) or Mathematical Science Course(BS+MS). This will help your knowledge in space, physics, communication, satellite etc. Actually the eligibility criteria of isro exam is Bachelor degree from any institution with aggregate 65% marks.
Hope this will help you.
Hello aspirants.
Yes, you can obviously find jobs in isro after studying iiser mohali. Actually you can get job from graduating any other institution. But the necessary thing is you have to clear written test and interview(which is one of the toughest interview in India) to get the jobs especially scientist and engineers in isro.
All the best for your future.
Hi aspirant,
The Indian Space Research Organisation(ISRO) is the space agency of the Government of India and has its headquarters in the city of Bangalore. It is the pioneer space exploration agency of the Government of India.
There are two ways that aspirants can choose in order to join ISRO.
The ISRO ICRB examination is a two stage examination. It comprises of a national-level written exam (offline mode) and a personal interview. The maximum age limit is 30 years.
The second way is through IIST. After Class 12, students can also get admission into the IIST by clearing the JEE Mains and Advanced with a good rank. After graduation you will have chance to get directly into ISRO provided you meet other criteria as well.
In addition to this there are some other ways where ISRO itself conducts written test and skills test to recruit candidates if there are vacancies available. You can get either through this way or through the first way by writing ICRB examination.
All the best.
Hello
To become a space scientist , one should possess relevant education in pure science or engineering disciplines. ISRO recruit candidates with PhD in Astronomy, Physics and Mathematics along with engineers in disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, electronics and computer science. Candidates who are aiming for ISRO jobs should pursue their bachelors' degree in the above-described disciplines or related to space technology and physics. Hope this helps
All the best
hi,
see statistics is a major and most important value in engineering domain. in b.tech course you have to learn engineering mathematics, prt 1 ,2 and 3 upto second year of engineering, where there is chapters relates with probability , differentiation, algebra etc. also in campus placement questions comes for binomial theorem, probability topics.
the most use of statistics and probability concept is in computer science engineering domain, you may heard about data science which is a lucrative career option for any stream of engineering graduate, which 50% concepts is related with statistical modelling, regression, probability theorem concepts. so it would be really hard for you to continue the engineering course if your mathematics domain is not strong, since mathematics is a integral part of engineering. so just make a routine and try to over come your fear of statistics or probability by watching videos and reading books. some of the 12th standard books for statistics you may follow,
Cambridge International AS & A Level Mathematics: Probability & Statistics 1 Coursebook.
however for engineering domain as per your criteria it would be best if you choose electronics and communication engineering over computer science.
hope it would help.
Dear Pooja ,
I hope you are doing well !
I would happy to say that ECE student can get a job in the Indian Space Research Organisation .But you have to pass the exam then only you can get a chance .
Like minimum criteria
I hope it will helpful
thanks
Hii pooja,
I hope you fine.i can understand your problem. CSE is overall depends on programing and logical thinking.ECE is related to bits, chips etc.and you can get to job in ISRO
1) first you join CSE otherwise you crack ISRO exam and ( 4 research exams).you must focus on core subjects and maths.no need to worry about statistics it's a part in engineering.
2)same ECE also .but,it's low oppurtinty to get job in ISRO.
I hope you understand.
Thankyou.
Hello,
Now a days the demand for Geoinformatics is increasing day by day and various research work is going on based on this topic. It is very interesting subject too. After completing Btech in Geoinformatics if you want to get job in ISRO you have to apply ICRB exam i.e. ISRO Centralised Recruitment Board exam. The exam is conducted by ICRB for scientist and Engineer recruitment.
There are various fields that have application of Geoinformatics. Those fields are, Disaster Management, Defense,Forestry, Environment and Climate,Agriculture etc. You can get job in those fields as-- GIS Expert, GIS Environment Analyst, Geo-Spatial Software Engineer, GIS programmer etc.
hi student ,
you can join ISRO after doing be/b.tech in cse, ece, electrical, mechanical , aerospace branch and clearing isro entrance test or through qualifying gate examination. you can join directly isro through interview only by securing admission in IIST college . after passing out through this college majority of student get placed in ISRO . you can secure admission in this college through getting good rank in jee advance approx rank - 1500 .
hope this help you
best of luck
