how long does it take to get a ews certificate in westbengal??

Rithwik Kumar Sahu 26th Aug, 2025

In West Bengal, getting an EWS certificate usually takes 15–30 working days after you submit your application with all required documents (income proof, residential proof, Aadhaar, etc.). If everything is correct and there’s no verification delay, some applicants even receive it within 2 weeks.

But if documents need re-verification or there’s heavy load at the BDO/SDO office, it can stretch up to 45 days.

I have qualified my 12th from pcb background but I need to enter in btech cse for that I have two option 1 is bridge course of maths which is provided by the university where I am enrolling but it is ugc approved not aicte and 2 option is NWAC board where I get marksheet for whole subject which one is better and safer which would not create problem in future for higher education and job perspective

Rithwik Kumar Sahu 25th Aug, 2025

Between the two, the NWAC (Northwest Accreditation Commission) full marksheet with Mathematics is the safer and more widely accepted option for long-term career and higher education. A bridge course by the university (UGC-approved but not AICTE) may only be valid within that particular institution, and other universities or employers might not recognize it, especially if AICTE approval is required.

So, if you want future-proof recognition for higher studies (M.Tech, MBA, abroad education) and job placements, NWAC with Mathematics is better and safer.

Hello,

If you want to enter B.Tech CSE after PCB, the safest option is to have Mathematics as a proper subject in your Class 12th marksheet.

  • Bridge course by university (UGC approved, not AICTE):
This may help you get admission in that university, but in future (for M.Tech, govt jobs, or abroad studies) some institutions may not accept it because AICTE requires Maths in 12th.

  • NWAC board with full marksheet including Maths:
This gives you a fresh valid marksheet with Maths as a proper subject. It is generally accepted for higher studies and jobs because it looks like a regular 12th qualification.

So, the NWAC board option is safer for your long-term career. The bridge course may create problems later.

Hope it helps !

Yadi 13 varsh ka baccha ek factory mein karya Karta Hai yah kahlata hai

Shivani Chaurasia 7th Sep, 2025

Hii Ankit!

If a 13 year old child works in a factory he/she is called a child labourer. As per the child and adolescent labour ( prohibition in regulation) act which was passed in 1986 and later amended in 2016, employment of children who are below the age of 14 in any form of work including factories is strictly prohibited.

Att this age, a child has the right to education, health and overall development. Forcing or allowing them to work is considered an infringement of child rights and law.

Hope this helps!

Hey i have registered for the fyjc and i opened my student account multiple time but now it showing invalid username or password but all details are correct what to do? as now registration is also close.

Chelsie G 25th Aug, 2025

First, use the “Forgot Password/Username” option on the login page and reset it. Sometimes multiple logins can cause temporary issues, so try clearing browser cache or logging in from another device. If it still doesn’t work and registration is already closed, you should immediately contact the FYJC helpline or the guidance center assigned to you. They are the only ones who can reactivate or resolve your account issue. Keep your registration details and ID proof ready when contacting them.

my rank is 165586 and i am a UR-pwd student ...is it possible to get a govt seat at any state through AIQ

Devanshi Goyal 24th Aug, 2025

HELLO,

With a rank of 165586 in AIQ and category UR - PwD , your chances of getting a government medical seat through All India Quota counselling are significantly better to the general category because of the Pwd reservation benefits

1.See 5 % seats are reserved for Pwd candidates across all categories in medical colleges so for you competition will be less which will increase your chances of securing a seat

2.At your rank it may be difficult in top tier government medical colleges but you may still have a chance in less demanded government colleges depending on cutoff trends

3.Apart from AIQ you should also apply for your state quota counselling (if eligible)  where chances could be higher as states also implement Pwd reservation
