To get admission in Jadavpur University, you need to give WBJEE examination.

The selection completely depends on your rank.

In 2018, the closing rank for the Power Engineering branch for general category candidates was 1721.

In 2017, the closing rank for the Power Engineering branch for general category

Since Jadavpur University is the best college of WBJEE, their are very less chances that the closing ranks will increase. Since their is noting like cut off marks in WBJEE, we can't consider like that.
