To get admission in Jadavpur University, domicile of West Bengal is required as students from other states cannot apply there but there is no residential proof criteria for private colleges of West Bengal so you can give WBJEE and get admission if you are interested in private institutes or colleges.

Being a jadavpur university civillian,i could say that dont aim any rank or cutoff beforehand exam because wbjee exam pattern,toughness level,cutoff marks all are fluctuating much in recent years,rather try to score as much as you can while taking exam withing setting any limit of marks in mind.i had attempted

To get CSE branch in Jadavpur University the rank depends upon the caste category as well. For general category, in WBJEE, closing rank is 153 for the year 2017.

So you can aim accordingly.
