The De-Centralized counseling for admission into Degree level Engineering & Technology courses in the eight Govt. Colleges of West Bengal if the seats remaining vacant after three rounds of e-counseling in 2019. The De-Centralized counseling mainly held on the mid of August that is on the second week.

Chemical engineering is one of the best branches of Jadhavpur University. The research facilities, faculties etc. are very good. It surpass some of NIT's as well as NIT's. 

It has around 100% placements. Out which 50-55% students are placed in core jobs and rest gets offers from software companies
