If you are not too much oriented towards cse branch then I would suggest you not to drop the nit tag and go for mech at nit jamshedpur though if you are inclined towards cse then jamia is also a good college but the competition level and coding culture is far better than most colleges in india also companies do care about the tag as well and at last you always have an option of branch change if you work hard in first year.
Hi
Now NEET score is a mandatory requirement in order to get admission in B pharma in Jamia hamdard college.
Students will be selected on the basis of NEET score, college does not conduct separate entrance exam for admission.
So you can't take admission without giving NEET UG exam
For admission in B Pharma, selection is based on NEET score along with 50 percent aggregate of Physics, chemistry and biology in class 12th
Minimum Cutoff marks revolves around-
359- 186 for general category
185- 152 for OBC category
185-114 for SC category
283-87 for ST category
However
For SFS( self finance scheme) cutoff was 300 marks
For regular students cutoff was 410 marks
Keeping the rise in cutoffs in mind, 350-420 should be a safe score for admission
Best of luck

Hi aspirant,
The admissions to JMI B.Tech courses are offered for the various specializations based on the candidates’ performance in the JEE Main. The authorities do not conduct a separate entrance examination for JMI B. Tech 2021 admission unlike other courses. So you cannot get admission into the college unless you perform well in JEE as the competition is tough.
For Btech application form were released in May for interested candidates. Based on the candidates’ performance in JEE Main and compliance with the cutoff marks so released, the authorities shall release a merit list. This JMI B. Tech merit list shall contain the names of candidates who are selected for participating in the counselling process and seat allotment will be done on the same basis.
Hope it helps!!
