Yes, of course. You can seek admission in JMI by sitting for it's entrance exam. The forms are usually out in May and the entrance exam is held during the month of September. The admission process starts during the month of October.

As per your question i would say that the Haryana Council for open schooling never comit to everyone for further study and employment. The courses offered are only for knowledge and wisdom. The certificates are valid and you can try for higher studies in universities. Based on your marks and cutoff you have to appear for entrance exams and get into the admission procedure if selected.
