i am from Banihal Jammu and Kashmir i have passed 12th class from jkbose with 70% marks Sir can i got admission in JMIU Dehli

Raychel 14th Nov, 2020

Dear student,

I hope you are doing well, about your question, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) follows a common application process for all the courses in their college. The application form can be filled from their  admission portal, followed by fee submission through Credit/ Debit card or Net-Banking. The online portal for applying is closed for now and the last date set for the same was on14th September 2020.

They do offer many courses like BA, B.Com, BBA, B.Sc, BA-LL.B, BHM, BPT, B.Li.I.Sc, BFA, BTTM, and B.Ed, so to get a seat in any of these courses it is important t score a valid mark in the JMI Entrance Test followed by an Interview.

  • Valid rank in JEE Main is the primary requirement to secure admission in B.Tech and B.Arch courses.
  • JMI offers BDS program in which candidates have to qualify in NEET UG conducted at all Indian levels.

Hope this helps!!

akashkumarpati.2000 12th Sep, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

Though the official 2020 cut-off marks for the topmost NITs are not released till now, one thing can be undoubtedly assumed that it's quite impossible for you to get opportunity of studying in any renowned institution  in Jammu Kashmir like NIT Srinagar, IIT Jammu etc. However, you should try for State  level counseling for getting admitted in several private engineering colleges suitable as per your rank in your desirable state, Jammu Kashmir.

You can also use Careers360  College predictor tool to check your chances according to your JEE MAIN rank and percentile :

Hope it can help you for making any decision in this regard .

Wish you all the best.
