can an ews candidate from Kerala take an admission in jammu and kashmir govt medical college for mbbs in ews quota ??

pushpachoudhary7413 6th Sep, 2021
Hey aspirant
Hope you are doing good
The answer for your question is yes
An ews student from kerela can take admission in jammu and kashmir University through ews quota.

the central government approved reservation for the OBC and EWS (Economically Weaker Section) categories within the All India Quota (AIQ) for NEET, the uniform entrance examination for medical and dental colleges across the country.

As per government regulations for NEET reservation criteria, 27% seats for OBC, 10% seats for EWS, 15% seats for SC and 7.5% seats for ST are reserved in Central Universities and state medical colleges.

So due to this you can get admission through ews quota anywhere in the country , as long as you score enough marks to get into those colleges

sir i am from jammu and Kashmir. and i want you to explain that what is this self declaration form for neet 2021 i am really confused sir i hope u will answer me as soon as possible

Aditya 23rd Jul, 2021

Hi aspirant,

When you sign a self declaration form, you are stating that you are not eligible for appearing for Counselling in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh and hence you are not eligible to see admission in MBBS, BDS, Aush courses of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. You are also mentioning that you do not hold the domicile of both Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. So you need to choose accordingly and select no if you belong to Jammu and Kashmir domicile.

Hope it helps!!

Hey! I have a query. As i am eligible for defence quota, how can i register under defence quota for MBBS admissions 2021 in Jammu and Kashmir?

Arish Ali 24th Jul, 2021

Dear Shradha,

If you are eligible for Defence quota then you can definitely apply with that category in Jammu and Kashmir MBBS Colleges after taking NEET UG exam.

What you need to do is that the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) will release a separate application form for JAMMU AND KASHMIR students who are willing to participate in the state counselling. So in that application form you can mention your category of Defence by which you will be eligible for that quota and you must possess the defence certificate or proof for that category because it will be verified at the time of counselling.

According to the website of Indian Army it states the reservation for Army personnel in J&K.

Seats are reserved for children of serving/retired defence personnel in technical/professional colleges in state. 3% reservation each in MBBS, Eng. etc.. in J&K Univ

For updates on the application form you can regularly visit this website mentioned below :

Hope this answers your query.

Thank You

suchayitaanusaha 2nd Jun, 2021

Hello,

Yes you can definitely do BCA. But there are so many colleges are offered which offered BCA course. So if you want to study BCA then you have to select State and location first. You can choose Maharashtra, you can choose Tamilnadu also you can choose West Bengal.

Then you have to choose which college you want to take admission. But before this you have to choose where you want to take admission..

I'm from West Bengal so I'll suggest you that you can come West Bengal for your studying. Because I've so many friends from Kashmir they are also choose kashmir but they are not studying BCA. But it's upto you , you can talk to your family then take dicison. After select the location you can ask college details from us. And almost every colleges provide Hostel facilities. So you don't face any problem for living..

All the best.

i have 94.25% in my best 4 subjects, Im hailing from jammu and kashmir.can i get admission in delhi university for BBA OR BMS

Arshiya 2nd Jul, 2021
Hello Aspirant,

Delhi University does not offer Bachelors in Business Administration, BBA course but it do offer Bachelors in Management Studies, BMS.

Your 12th percentage is just not enough to get admission in Delhi University . Delhi University conducts an entrance exam DU JAT every year to give admission to students. Your 12th percentage will also ne considered in giving you a rank in the final list. For that, your percentage is good enough. But then also you need to score really good in the entrance, at least 95 percentile to get a college for BMS.

Eligibility criteria: Candidates must have completed 10+2 education from a recognised board and  should have scored at least 60% marks in aggregate in four subjects that include Mathematics, English and any other two subjects.
