can i get aiims jammu with 650 score ?

piyush263001 18th Aug, 2022

Hello,

Now, According to last year data for NEET 2022, an aspirant scoring 650 Marks had AIR around 4,100.

------ Since you haven't mentioned your category, I would consider you as a General Category Candidate.

Also with marks you are expecting, your chances of getting MBBS seat in AIIMS Jammu is considerably high.

As according to previous year data for All India Quota COUNSELING, last candidate from General Category to get MBBS seat in AIIMS JAMMU had AIR around 6,156 and marks 639 .

------ Also, to predict whether you will definitely get a seat in a college is an uphill task as cut-offs for colleges change every year during Counseling depending upon several factors such as-

• Number of applicants in NEET exam

• NEET question paper difficulty level

• Score of the candidates in NEET 2022 result

• MBBS/BDS seat matrix 2022

------ To know your expected Rank in the NEET 2022 Examination, based on the marks you are expecting, kindly check out Career 360's Rank Predictor -

I have recently passed 12th CBSE board exam with PCB (Physics, Chem & Bio). I have appeared in NEET & JIPMAT. From overall long term career perspective , which is a better option MBBS (from a govt college) or IPM (5 yrs BBA+MBA) from IIM Jammu. Kindly guide.

DishaDoshi 3rd Aug, 2022

Hello aspirant,

It is well said , " Scope means not the height career had achieved, it means the height to which you can make your career reach. "

If you are interested in public services and want to help others, you can go for MBBS.

If you are interested in corporate job, entrepreneurship, business and more, go for BBA AND MBA.

Both fields are very good. If you still have confusion, go for career counselling test online or offline. You can also talk to your teachers and parents.

If you don't want to do either, write down your thoughts mentioning what you don't want to do, you will automatically know what to do.

All the best.

For Mtech CSE 3rd gen IITs : Tirupati, Jammu, Bhilai, Palakkad, Goa etc. Vs BITs pilani : Hyderabad/Goa Campus Purely based on placements and curriculum and not fees

thakurvishesh1 4th Jul, 2022

See, if you want a secured future and want to get into a high paying job straight out of college, especially for M.Tech, then I would suggest you to go with BITS Pilani Pilani campus.

BITS Pilani has a much higher recognition and alumni base as compared to all the 3rd Gen IITs that you have mentioned. And the developments that have happened in these 3rd Gen IITs have only been on the front of B.Tech.

If you would have asked this question for BTech, then I would have recommended you to take IIT Bhilai over any other college, but if you want to go for M.Tech, then BITS Pilani is the logical choice. All the best!

sir i have got 75 marks (out of 180 ) in jkcet exam ... Can i get civil / cs branch in gcet jammu ?

Yogita 9th May, 2022

Hello aspirant,

Hope you are doing well..!!!

You have not referenced your classification, I am thinking about you as an Unreserved or GENERAL Category Student. Taking a gander at the earlier year cutoff for GCET Jammu for JKCET Exam, you have fair opportunities to get Civil Branch in GCET Jammu. The Cutoff for different branch according to earlier year Cutoff in GCET Jammu for JKCET is as per the following :

Common - upto 200

Electrical-upto 350

Mech , E&C - upto 600

CSE - upto 800

Further, kindly note that the previously mentioned expectation is exclusively founded on the earlier year JKCET cutoff and it might differ during the current year as the end continues to shift consistently. The JKCET cutoff relies upon different elements like : earlier year cutoff, number of applicants showing up, and so on.

Hope this information helps you!!!

All the best!!!!
