I got 2892 rank in ST category in JEE Mains. Can i get admission in btech in JNU, Delhi?

Roshni 6th Sep, 2022
Hi,

First of all, congratulations on your rank. Now, with a ST rank of 2892 you have a decent chance of getting into Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) Delhi. Note that, this is a prediction solely based on previous year cutoff trend at JNU.

You can get Integrated B.Tech + M.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering at JNU, as the closing rank in 2021 for this course was 3234.

I hope that was helpful.

PLEASE HELP ❗❗❗ If Im graduated from du in 2022 and i want to get admission in JNU for BA foreign languages can i apply for CUET( 2023) since Ive 10+2 eligibility but is it possible to get admission in JNU for undergraduate course if Im already graduated? please help....

Muskan Dhalwal 30th Aug, 2022

Hi,

Yes you can get admission in the BA foreign language courses offered by JNU even after having completed your graduation.

However, 80% seats in the first year of a three-year B.A.(Hons.) programme of the language school are reserved for students who passed the Senior School Certificate or an equivalent test in 2021 or who are scheduled to take it in 2022, with the remaining 20% open to all other applicants.

Candidates who earned their Higher Secondary Certificate through the 10+1+3 educational system will be qualified for admission to the first year of the three-year B.A. programme if they passed the first-year bachelor's degree examination at a university through the 10+1+3 educational system with the required percentage of marks, or 45%.

Therefore, you fall under the category of the remaining 20% of the applicants and you can definitely apply.

Hope this helped.

is finearts will be considered as 5th academic subject in unversities like du, jnu ,bhu?

Sayan 26th Aug, 2022

Hello,

Fine arts will be considered as top four subjects in universities like DU, JNU,BHU etc.

Some colleges withhold 2.5% from the percentage obtained using the fine art marks if it is an additional course.

Note that it also depends on the college and the course.

I thus advise you to browse the websites of several universities in order to get information.

Thank You

Hello,

Follow the following points to get yourself prepared for JNU entrance exam :-

  1. The most crucial component of any admission exam is the syllabus. JNUEE is not an exception. It is suggested that you review the JNUET syllabus for the relevant programme and base your preparation on the contents.
  2. Candidates should create a productive study schedule. One should plan time for even the most minor topics because the test will involve multiple-choice questions.
  3. It's crucial to get comfortable with the entrance exam. Candidates should familiarise themselves with the selection process, JNUEE exam format, etc.
  4. Playing mock tests will show where you rank among the competitors. During the last stage of preparation, it is advisable to take at least two or three practice exams.
