Hi

It's quite difficult to predict as JEE mains qualifying cutoff to be eligible for JEE advanced examination  keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like :-

********number of students that appeared in the  jee main exam,

********kind of marks obtained by them ,

********toughness level of the jee main examination for different shift etc.

But yes,

When we go through previous year trend then yes you  hold a decent  chance to qualify JEE main in order to be eligible for JEE advanced

For reference,

Im an obc candidate and i have secured Air 1361 in JEE main 2021 and wanted an all india rank under 1000 in jee advanced 2021, but due to some careless mistakes i lost 22 marks and now acc to provisional anskey im scoring 181 marks!! should I take drop for 2022 or join any decent branch in IITs?

ANKITA SONI 14th Oct, 2021

Hello Buddy! Hope you're doing good.

As you scored well in JEE Main and your JEE Advance marks is not that bad. So you can opt for admission this year with some decent IIT or either top NIT. But when you decide to take a drop then it totally upto you whether you compromise with IIT or not. In my suggestion just take admission because there's alot of uncertainty there whether you scored as much as you scored this year. And the phase between this year and next, alot of frustrations occurs, a number of people ask you different varities of question which might affect you. So if you are totally understand your situation and visualize it then come to a discussion of your own choice. For knowing your possibilities of getting a seat, you can use the college predictor tool given below :-

Hope this will help you.

As I hadnt atttempt the jee main paper 2, should I still give both the papers of jee advanced 2021.

Bhawana Kumar 4th Sep, 2021

Yes, you should give both paper of Jee advanced 2021. As jee advanced is for selection to IIT colleges, it has nothing to do with your mains exam. If you get selected with higher scores in mains exam, its good for you to give both exams of advanced level. As it will help you to boost your score and you can get good ranks. If you score higher in other attempt, you will get a better college for engineering that will help you with good placements.

Dear Student,

Every question in JEE Advanced exam require conceptual understanding of topics to answer them. Moreover, most questions are analytical requiring good numerical ability to arrive at a solution. Secondly conceptual understanding of topics and building analytical and numerical ability is a must.

For scoring good marks, you must be aware of the exam syllabus and pattern of the paper.

The exam has two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2.
Both paper 1 and paper 2 will have three parts, Part I as Physics, Part II as Chemistry and Part III as Mathematics with each part further divided into Section 1, 2 and 3. The maximum marks for each subject will be 62 and the total marks for both paper 1 and paper 2 will be 372. Students must note that total marks and number of questions may vary from year to year.

jee advanced 2021 main obc ncl pwd candidate ko qualify karne liye kitne number per subject wise chahiye for top 7 iit ke liye?

suchayitaanusaha 26th Sep, 2021

Hello,

JEE mains examination is the entrance examination for all India engineering and architecture colleges. So if you want to join IITs then you have to qualify this examination then you can give JEE advanced. After clearing JEE advanced examination you can get IITs college.

IITs is Indian Institute of Technology college. So JEE Mains obc cutoff this year 74.31. If you get this then you are qualified for JEE advanced. For JEE advanced minimum cutoff for OBC is 68. But you have to score good to get top 7 IITs in counselling.

All the best.

I had got 54 percentile in JEE mains and my inter marks is 630 under ST category can I apply for jee advanced 2021

gupta.virat1357 3rd Sep, 2022
Hello aspirant
Hope you are doing great there . I am really very sorry to say this but you are eligible for jee advance only and only if you pass the cut off of jee mains given by NTA at the time of declaration of result . And as per the tentative ( expected) cut off chances of you clearing the jee mains cut off is really very low . As per the percentile given by you your predicted CRL rank lies somewhere between 470580 - 529000 . Therefore most probably you will not be able to give JEE advance. It all depends on your category ,If u are general category student you should score atleast 3 digit number [100]. But if u belongs to EWS u should score 50+ marks. If u belongs to obc u should score 55 marks. If u are SC category you should score 30 marks. If u are ST u need to score 25 marks as per last year's trend
Hope this is helpful to u .
