Your rank is quite high to get into any IITs , so better you can try for NITs and IIITs.

Don't expect any seat in IIT with that rank. Go for NITs through your JEE Mains rank or choose any private college. You can also take year drop and prepare hard for IIT next time.

Generally private college wont admit on jee adv score , but you can show it in your docs for scholarships etc.

If you belongs to general category then u wouldn't get any IIT ..if this is your rank in your first attempt then it is a decent rank ,and i guess that u may also have a good jee main rank so look for options of NITs IIITs

At this score you can consider dual degree courses at BITS Pilani . Do check out last year cutoffs. They generally increase by 3-7 marks.
Please keep your branch interest firsr . Do not select college for its name sake.
