jee main 2020 exam and when we want to fill the application for jee main

Anurag Khanna 16th Oct, 2021

It seems that you are asking about JEE-Main 2022 exam because JEE-Main 2020 was already conducted in 2020 and now even JEE-Main 2021 has ended.

So as of now there is no any information released by NTA regarding JEE-Main 2022 because till now JEE 2021 is even not completed and it is in process as the counselling is yet to be conducted so at this moment it would be too early to say any exact date about JEE-Main 2022 but to give you an idea, if everything goes normally then we can expect JEE-Main 2022 application to get started from the month of January 2022 but nothing is announced officially yet.

I am participate jee main 2020 only 4th attempt and next year I will attend only 4th attempt in 2021 so i am eligible for 2022 jee main?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 12th Sep, 2021

Hello

Whether you are eligible for jee main 2022 or not depends upon your class 12th passing year.

In which year did you pass your pass 12th?

Anyway,

For your reference,

Jee main eligibility criteria is given below-

--------) Qualification required :- to be eligible  for JEE mains you need 10+2/equivalent qualification.

Course

Required Criteria based on Class 12th  or equivalent

B.E/B.Tech

Passed qualifying examination with Physics and   Mathematics as compulsory subjects

along with any one of :-

----)Chemistry

-----)Biotechnology

-----)Biology

----) Technical Vocational subject.

B.Arch

Passed qualifying examination with

-----)Mathematics,

-----)Physics,

------) Chemistry

B.Planning

Passed qualifying examination with Mathematics

--------) Passing year :- one is eligible for JEE main examination for consecutive three years starting from the year of appearing for 12th /equivalent examination i. e to be eligible  for JEE mains 2022   you should be either appearing for 12th board exam or equivalent  in   2022 or should have passed it in 2021 or 2020  .

As you have attempted jee main 2020, so I am guessing that your 12th passing year is 2020.

Yes, you are eligible for jee main 2022.

With 2020 as 12th board exam appearing year you

  • Were eligible for jee main 2020 ,

  • eligible for jee main 2021 and

  • Will be eligible for all the 4 sessions of  jee main 2022  as well

--------) There is no age limit to be eligible

-   -------) there is no minimum percentage requirement to be eligible for JEE Main.

But yes,

To be eligible for NITs, IIITs, CFTIs one needs at least 75% marks in class 12th if belongs to General or OBC category  or at least 65% marks in class 12th if belongs to Sc or St category.

For this year i. e 2021 this minimum percentage requirement of 75% - 65 % has been lifted off   .

But in 2022, yes this 75-65 % criteria for       NITs, IIITs, CFTIs will be there( if removed due to conditions like pandemic then nta will notify about it)

For detailed information about jee main eligibility criteria  go through our page, the link for which is provided below

mera jee main 2020 clear hain. kya main 2021 josaa college counseling main participate kar sakta hoon?

sheemaashraf123 10th Dec, 2021
It depends upon the JEE Main and JEE Advance cut offs, If You manage to qualify the exam by achieving the cut off, You can apply for JOSAA Counselling. It should be noted the cut off for EWS/SC/ST/FEMALES/OBC category is lower than the general category

If you manage to qualify JEE Main Cutoff, You would be eligible for JEE Advance which is the intake exam for IITs as mentioned above.

However It is usually advised to fill the choices as per the preference of colleges and departments, for example CSE in NIT Trichy is your priority followed by CSE in NIT Warangal, you can fill CSE at NIT Trichy at serial number 1 and CSE at NIT Warangal at serial number 2 and so on and so forth. However to get any NIT, you must have qualified JEE Mains and to get any IIT, you must have qualifies JEE Advanced

But the previous cut offs of colleges should be taken in consideration, it is better to research over the cut off of colleges then make a preference list of colleges and fill accordingly

For the college preferences and the courses provided by these colleges and to know which colleges participate in the JOSAA counselling, please go to the below mentioned link: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/josaa-participating-institutes/amp

For college prediction as per your marks and rank, please go through the below mentioned link: https://www.careers360.com/college-predictor

Rest for information on any particular college, you can dig their official site for better information

i have cleared JEE main 2020 but I didnt apply for college this year. can I apply for 2022 batch without giving JEE in 2021 with the same percentile i got in 2020

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 27th May, 2021

Hi

No, you cannot get admission in 2022 on the basis of your JEE main 2021 percentile.

This is because,

Your JEE main score is valid for only one year i. e the year in which it is conducted  so, Jee main 2021 score is valid for admission in 2021 only . To get admission in 2022 you will have to appear in JEE main 2022.

Also,

The admission process has not started yet as April and May session of jee main 2021 is still to be conducted and the counselling process will start after May result so you can participate in counselling and get admission in colleges  this year itself

Now that,

You have appeared in JEE main 2021 examination, To predict your rank go through

To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to,  your home state, your gender etc, the link for  jee main college predictor is provided below

What is the scope for working abroad after completing Biomedical sciences in India?

Subhrajit Mukherjee 2nd Jun, 2021

In abroad you have a lot of scope in this field. If you can specialize in Imaging technology or the Medical robotics etc you will have plenty of scopes to work in countries like Japan, USA, Germany etc. So if you are interested then try to get the best college for your bachelors. If you want to go for Biomedical Engineering then try for IIT's or top universities in India. This will help you to build contacts with the abroad companies. Also you can get a research fellowship in abroad if you want to research in the field.

Thus, as I have mentioned you have plenty of scopes in India as well as abroad. All you have to do is to study and put your energy in the right direction.

I hope my answer helps. All the very best for your future endeavors!
