Hello Aspirant! With this rank of yours, it would be quite difficult for you to get into NIT. Getting IIIT is also not possible. However, you can try in the CSAB round and also for your home state NIT's. If you are confident and determined that you want to study in NIT's then you should drop for a year.
But you have to work hard as 60 percentile is very low compared to the ongoing competition. You should at least score more than 95-97% to secure top NIT's.

Based on your rank and category and OPEN seat you will not be able to get into any NIT or GFTI with such a high rank. Even with Home State quota unfortunately you will not be able to get into NIT Rourkela.
