Hello Aspirant,
With this rank it is difficult for you to get admission in good colleges with high demanding branches like CSE, ECE, IT etc.
Cutoff varies every year depending on various factors. Keep in mind that your chances to get a seat will depend on the following basis:
Here are some colleges based on your rank :
You can go for JOSAA and CSAB counselling. Also, you can apply for central University. There you will get more advantages to get colleges.

Hello Student,
I think your question is, What is difference between CRL & Cateory Rank.
I'm here to tell you that CRL is based on your rank position out of total number candidate appeared in examination while Category rank is based on your rank position in your category which is OBC-NCL.
In Josaa Counselling CRL & Category rank is used for seat allotment while in other Counselling like AKTU, CRL is used.
Hope this information helps you
Best Wishes

Hello,
To be honest it is very difficult for you to get government colleges through jee mains and that too in this rank. You should try GFTIs rather like Guru ghasidas, Assam University, Kongri Vishwavidyalaya, BIT Mesra.
Still to be on a safer side i would advise you to keep private colleges as a backup like SRM University, Manipal University, BITS Pilani, VIT vellore.

Congratulations on securing such a good rank in jee mains so let me tell you that don't run behind computer science branch only after getting such a good rank because it would be tough to get cse branch in good NITs like Jamshedpur, durgapur, Silchar, allahabad, rourkela, Calicut, Goa, Patna.
But you can get Electronics and communication branch in some of the NITs mentioned above so you can take up this branch as all the companies will allow you to sit for the placements. There is no difference in the eligibility criteria.
