JEE Main 2022
Sorry to say you have little chance to get seat in niftm.
Hello,
To be honest it is very difficult for you to get government colleges through jee mains and that too in this rank. You should try GFTIs rather like Guru ghasidas, Assam University, Kongri Vishwavidyalaya, BIT Mesra.
Still to be on a safer side i would advise you to keep private colleges as a backup like SRM University, Manipal University, BITS Pilani, VIT vellore.
If you want to check out the colleges you can get , you can check out the link given below -

Congratulations on securing such a good rank in jee mains so let me tell you that don't run behind computer science branch only after getting such a good rank because it would be tough to get cse branch in good NITs like Jamshedpur, durgapur, Silchar, allahabad, rourkela, Calicut, Goa, Patna.
But you can get Electronics and communication branch in some of the NITs mentioned above so you can take up this branch as all the companies will allow you to sit for the placements. There is no difference in the eligibility criteria.
If you want to check out the colleges you can get you can check out the link given below -
Hello Aspirant,
Hope you are doing well.
With this rank it is impossibile to get NIT Durgapur and Jamshedpur with CSE branch. As per previous year information cutoff was somewhere around 11,000 for CSE in NIT Durgapur and approximately 10,000 for NIT Jamsedpur.
You can go fot JOSAA and CSAB counselling you will get advantage to getting colleges.
SMVDU KATRA JAMMU it is one of the top GFTI where you can get CS branch based on your rank.

Hello Anil,
Prediction of a college depends on a lot of factors and hence, it is not always 100% true. However, it will give you a rough idea about the colleges and branches that you can expect at your rank.
LIST OF COLLEGES AT YOUR RANK WITH CS BRANCH:
Selection of college is solely your choice. All the NITs mentioned above are very good in terms of academics, coding culture, placements, etc. According to me, you should aim for CS top 3 NITs. By the end of 6th round you will probably get CS in one of the top 3 NITs. If you don't have any constraints just go for that.
CSAI, COE, and Robotics are all specialization courses. NITs don't offer colleges with specialization courses. Specialization courses are usually offered by private colleges in order to increase the seats of CS branch. However, there are many clubs that you can join in college for AI ML, Robotics, etc. Just focus on getting CS in a good college for now.
Many IIITs offer specialization courses tho. You can also consider IIITs if you want to get a specialization branch very badly.
LIST OF IIITs PROVIDING SPECIALISATION COURSES WITH CS:
To find the best college at your rank, use the JEE Main College predictor tool:
Hey,
It's difficult to predict college as it depends on number of factors such as:
1. Number of candidates applying for counseling.
2. Difficulty level of Exam.
3. Number of candidates willing to apply for particular college and branch.
However, by going through the previous year trend some of the colleges you can consider are: NIT Raipur, NIT Agartala, NIT Mizoram, NIT Goa, NIT Sikkim, NIT Arunachal Pradesh, NIT Manipur, NIT Meghalaya, HBTU, NIT Jalandhar, NIT Hamirpur.
