JEE Main Exam
Hi there,
I am afraid but once you have cleared the exam as an general category then you can't switch your category. Although of the form correction portal reopens in some situation then you can change it otherwise there is no other option.
Though if you want other benefit from college other than counselling you have to make an affidavit to get that benefit. But that still won't help you during counsellings.
If you want to know about college options with your rank you can use our tool

Hi, MIT Muzaffarpur does not have CSE as their branch specialization. But, they do have electrical branch. According to the the data available online you should score between 90-96 percentile in JEE Mains. With that been said the chances of you getting into MIT Muzaffarpur are very slim. All the best!
Hello Aspirant
For admission in NITs, GFTIs, IITs, one should have secured 75% marks in 12th board in MPC, however this criteria was scrapped for last year and this year due to effects of Covid-19. But this criteria will be applicable from next year. Now, you can appear in JEE mains regardless of your board percentage and will be able to secure admission in various other colleges except NITs.
Hello Raghavendra Nayak Nayak,
I am sorry to inform you but your query is not very clear.
The JEE Mains PHASE 4 exam will held on dates :
AUGUST 26, 27 and 31 and also on 1st and 2nd SEPTEMBER.
If possible please post your query again.
Hope this helps you
Hello Aspirant,
Now you can't cancel your application of JE-Main 2021 as now the application/correction window is closed so if you are able to appear then it is recommended that one should appear for JEE-Main if got registered because you don't know how the paper is going to come, it might be much easier even beyond your expectations so if you appear you can get the advantage of it and who knows you might get good NITs on such score and if you don't appear then definitely you will not have any chance to get into top colleges like NITs/IIITs and suppose if paper comes harder than your expectations then also it will give you some experience and will make you familiar with your mistakes from which you can learn and can appear with much better preparation in upcoming attempts.
I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
According to the mentioned percentile your CRL rank is expected to be in the range of 81000-92000 , you can check out marks Vs ranks Vs Percentile from the link given below :-
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-marks-vs-percentile
Or
You can also use JEE-Main Rank Predictor to predict your rank :-
https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor
So on such rank and category you have no chance to get any of the NITs/IIITs/CFTIs with any branch even after applying under Female quota until and unless you deserves Home state quota for some NITs like NIT Silchar, NIT Mizoram, NIT Nagaland, so if do not deserve than I would recommend you to either go for private colleges like :-
School of Engineering, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun
Nirma University, Ahmedabad
Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Pune
SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai
Or you can prepare for further attempts of JEE-Main and to help you in your preparation we have some resources which you can access from the link given below :-
https://learn.careers360.com/jee-main-coaching/?utm_source=%20QnA
You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the official website of JOSAA as given below :-
https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx
Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB or the official websites of colleges and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-
You can also check out the JEE-Main 2021 qualifying cut-off (expected) for JEE-Advance 2021 from the link given below :-
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff
And on the basis of your percentile you holds good chances to get qualified for JEE-Advance because expected cut-off percentile for JEE-Advance is 90-95 for General candidate, so you can also prepare for JEE-Advance, through which you can get into IITs which are known as most prestigious engineering institutions if India.
As of now there is no any information released by NTA regarding JEE-Main 2022 because till now JEE-Main 2021 is even not completed and it is in process as it's last attempt is still to be conducted in August end so at this moment it would be too early to say any exact date about JEE-Main 2022 but to give you an idea, if everything goes normally then we can expect JEE-Main 2022 application to get started from the month of January 2022 but nothing is announced officially yet.
