rajaman9300 Student Expert 31st May, 2020

Generally Cutoffs changes every year and it is a JEE mains cutoffs then it is bound to change being volatile figure. It depends upon various factors like number of Students appearing for the exam, Difficulty level of the paper, performance of the students in the exam.

But in general if you follow the previous few year trends then if you score 90+ then you are safe.

All the best!!

what i do next after qualifying jee main exam??

Ayush Anand 29th May, 2020

Hello ,

Qualifying JEE Mains means you are eligible for giving advance and nothing else . Qualifying JEE Mains is not a permit for getting admission in an NIT because if you qualified and have low rank still you can't get NIT .

So what you can do after qualifying  JEE Mains is

  1. You can register for JEE Advance and then based upon your rank you will get IITs or some other Institute that give admission through JEE Advance .
  2. If you qualified JEE Mains and have ranks under cutoff of colleges , you can take admission there.

Now what is admission procedure ?

So , here is your answer :-

For admission in IITs , NITs and GFTIs and several other institutes you need to register for JOSSA 2020 counselling and pay the counselling fee and submit copy of documents asked online after that seat allocation held and in that you need to report at the reporting centres along with the real documents whose copies you provided online and others which are asked by them to brought . There you have to accept the seat and then you will pay fee at reporting centre and get admission .

You can check  details about counselling procedure here :-

I got 80 percentile in previous jee main exam Jan 2020 so which college will be suitable for me?

Yash Dev Student Expert 24th May, 2020
Hello student I request you to please help me with your category because with Genral category its difficult to get admission into any NIT's CFTIs IIITS or any Goverment engineering college as we all know that seats are very limited and admission is directly based on merit rank. With 80 percentile your rank must be around 1,13,802.
Help me with your preferable college so that I can check and provide you the exact information.
