can i get admission in Kopal institute of medical sciences with 522 marks in NEET 2021 from Jharkhand OBC2 category. I have seen less cutoff marks over there?

ADRIKA mONDAL 2nd Jan, 2022

Hi,

In accordance to your marks of 522 in NEET UG 2021, there are quite good chances of getting a seat in the Kopal institute of medical sciences. This is so because the cutoff goes a bit lower and varies every year. As in neet 2019, 409 marks for general category got a seat in Koppal Institute of Medical Sciences under all india quota. So hoping for the best. Thank you. For more information refer to https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_cp

what is the exact marks for Neet that so that I can get admission in any Jharkhand colleges in government for mbbs and that is sure that I will get admission anyhow??

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 22nd Nov, 2021

Hi

I am  assuming  you from general category

Your profile suggest that your domicile state is jharkhand

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But yes,

When we go through previous data then,

in neet  2020,  603 marks for general category was the cut off / lowest marks  to get an mbbs seat in Govt. Medical College   under jharkhand state quota and it was for Patliputra Medical college, Dhanbad

You can check the same at

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-jharkhand

So, for getting an mbbs seat in a government medical college under Jharkhand State quota for general category, you need at least around 603 - 610 marks.

Above prediction is on the basis of past year data but  cutoff keeps changing every year depending upon many factors as mentioned earlier, so to have a clear picture of the colleges in which you have chances and

is there any chance to get admission in govt mbbs/ bams/ bds college in neet 2021 marks 448 obc category aiq rank 1,35,852 domicile jharkhand

pdwords Student Expert 21st Nov, 2021

Hello,

If we go through last year cut-offs for Jharkhand, then with 448 marks chances to seccure GMC seat or even government dental colleges is quite tough as cut-offs are on higher side, as Jharkhand has limited medical colleges with higher cut-offs hence MBBS through state quota is tough with your provided marks as per previous year data, though you may have chances for private dental colleges through state quota such as

  • Awadh Dental College and Hospital, Jamshedpur
  • Hazaribag College of Dental Sciences and Hospital, Hazaribag
  • Vananchal Dental College and Hospital, Garhwa

Check out previous year cut-offs at https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-jharkhand

There are possibilities for MBBS through AIQ in the following deemed universities such as

  • Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhubaneswar
  • Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College, KLEU, Belagavi
  • Yenepoya Manglaore
  • Sri Siddhartha Medical College DU, Tumkur
  • B.L.D.E University, Bijapur
  • Bharati Vidyapeeth Dee. Univ. Med. College, Pune
  • MGM Medical College, Navi Mumbai

however, this is completely based on previous year data, cut-offs are subjected to alter every year based on various factors such as

  • total number of candidates appearing for the exam
  • difficulty level of the paper
  • top NEET scores
  • reservation
  • seat matrix, etc..

How can I can get benefits of two state benefits in neet 2022 as my netive place is Bihar and I did / complet schooling from Jharkhand . pl also advise that I am a girl candidate . pl take ur time and advise suitably either both state or one dedicated

piyush263001 20th Nov, 2021

Hello,

It is advisable that you first go through the domicile eligibility criteria, if you fulfil the criteria of both States or not.

Since you are from Bihar, It is most probably you will be able to produce Domicile certificate. Now for Jharkhand following Is the criteria for Domicile-

NEET domicile rules for the Jharkhand MBBS admission are as given below.

• Only local/permanent residents of Jharkhand would be eligible for the 85% state-reserved seats. Certificates for permanent residency will have to be furnished from the competent authorities.

• Domicile holders of Jharkhand, who have passed Class XII from Jharkhand Board would also be eligible.

So If you fulfil the criteria, you become eligible to participate in state counseling for 85% seats in both the states, which is quite beneficial, as cut off for Government medical colleges in Bihar is quite high where as it is comparatively low in Jharkhand.

Hi aspirant,

The Jharkhand State Open School (JSOS) is not a recognized institute. In June 2020, the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court had declared the institute as not recognized and the certificate as not valid for certain needs. This order came in the issue of the admission of students certified by JSOS in the Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University.
