Im from jharkhand and i come under OBC in State caste certificate but their is confusion in National caste certificate. if i mention myself OBC in NEET form will that make any problem. because students of my area are confused between being GENERAL or OBC in national caste certificate.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 30th Jul, 2021
Hi

No, need to be confused dear.

As per neet information brochure 2021 those who belong to OBC nclcategory at state level but are not in the centre list need to select general as their category while filling the Neet application form.

So,

Whether you need to choose OBC NCL while filling Neet application form or not depends upon whether you are in the central list of OBC NCL or not. The link for the central OBC ncl list is provided below

Central list :

http://www.ncbc.nic.in/User_Panel/CentralListStateView.aspx

Go through the above central list , and if you are in the central list of OBC NCL then only choose OBC NCL as your category Otherwise you must choose general category while filling the neet application form.

And,
Don't worry, in case you if you don't belong to obc ncl at central level While filling the form of state counselling you can definitely choose OBC ncl because you belong to obc ncl at state level and can avail reservationwhile for all India counselling you need to participate as a general category and thus for filling the neet application form you need to choose general as your category.

To help you further, here's how you can fill neet application form

To fill the application form you need to go through 5 steps i. e

*neet registration :- first of all visit the official website of neet i. e ntaneet to generate your login credentials,

*then fill the form i. e you need to fill your personal academic and contact details

*and after that you need to go for uploading your documents,

*then pay the application fee

  • General :- 1500/-

  • General-EWS/ OBC-NCL :- 1400

  • SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender :- 800

  • Foreign candidate :- 7500

*And finally you should take the printout of confirmation page.

Sohamsengupta8 30th Jul, 2021

Hello STudent

In this marks you can get St. Xaviers College Kolkata or Goenka College of commerce Kolkata for Bcom Honours course.  In conditions of education learning campusing placement faculties infrastructure Goenka College has the environment of good education. But the infrastructure and the administration and campusing where multinational companies visited for recruitment from BCom Honours student it is is better in in Saint Xaviers College Kolkata than Goenka College of commerce. Then it is your choice to get the get one of the colleges for your BCom Honours course study. The timings of Goenka College of commerce for classes 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. but the Saint Xaviers College BCom Honours course time class timing sees 3:25 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.. you can take admission in the second year of BCom Honours in CFA course.

my obc caste certificate is from bihar but my domicile certificate is from jharkhand...so can i get admission in jharkhand by neet state counselling

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 30th Jul, 2021
Hi

Being domicile of Jharkhand, you are eligible for jharkhand 85 % state quota seats but you will not be able to avail obc ncl reservation in jharkhand with obc ncl certificate of Bihar.

This is because,

OBC NCL state certificate of Bihar is valid in bihar only and not valid in Jharkhand or any other state because the caste  which belongs to obc in bihar may not belong to obc in jharkhand.

So ,for participating in 85% state quota counselling in jharkhand you need to get OBC NCL certificate of jharkhand

While,

For all India counselling, OBC NCL Central certificate is valid in all the states but it can be used only for all India counselling and not for state level counselling as the castes which belong to OBC NCL is different at Central and state levels.

Now that,

limited time is left for neet 2021 , so you should be focusing on your preparation,

  • practising chapterwise questions

  • then revising the chapters,

  • solve at least previous 10 year neet question papers as concept behind the question often gets repeated in the examination so it will be of great help in your preparation ,

  • go through neet mock test papers as it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your examination. To help you in your preparation we have neet knockout for you :- https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-

what is the expected cut off for general category in jharkhand for government medical college according to state quota

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 8th Sep, 2021

Hi

Predicting the marks required to get a seat in a medical college is quite difficult but when we go through previous year trends then

In neet 2019 , 580 marks for general category was the cut off marks/ lowest marks  that got an mbbs seat in a government medical college under jharkhand state quota  and it was for MGM Medical college , Jamshedpur

You can check the same at

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-jharkhand

But yes,

cut  off   marks / rank   for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the neet examination, kind of marks obtained by students  in neet , toughness level of the neet examination, number of seats available etc.

So , you should try to get at least around 50 marks  more in comparison of Neet 2019 in your Neet 2021 Examination to be on the safer side, so you should try to get at least around 625 - 630 marks .

Now , limited time is left for your neet 2021 examination, so focus on preparation, go through the chapters , practise questions and do revision, go through mock test papers . To help you in your preparation we have neet knockout for you :- https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet

To get the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

Im from jharkhand and Im in OBC category in state caste certificate but in national caste certificate Im in general category. so which one of them should i use in neet counciling.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 28th Jul, 2021

Hi

You need to choose general as your category while filling the neet application form if you are not in the central list of obc ncl

As per the  neet information brochure 2021 those who belong to OBC ncl category at state level but are not in the centre list of obc ncl need to select general as their category while filling the Neet application form.

You can check the same on the page number 1 of neet 2021 information brochure, the link to download it is given below :-

But yes,

While filling the form of state counselling you can definitely choose OBC ncl because you belong to obc ncl at state level while  for all India counselling  you need to participate as a general category.
