can a student from J&K cant get into aiims delhi please explain me in simple language as I am confused some people are saying students who hold domicile of J&K cant get into AIIMS delhi plz answer

Neha Kumari 18th Jul, 2021

Hello there

AIIMS conducts its admission through All India  Counseling along with some other colleges .AIIMS comes under 15% all India quota so the candidates  of any state can apply for this quota EXCEPT JAMMU AND KASHMIR CANDIDATES and they can apply for 85% state quota. And candidates of JAAMU AND KASHMIR  don't have any 15% or 85% All India Quota or Any State quota . Unfortunately candidates who hold a Domicile of Jammu and Kashmir cannot participate in All India Counseling and there by take admission in any of AIIMS branches of MBBS.

I hope you got your answer.

Can a student get a seat in govt medical college in J&K through all India qouta ife he/she lives in other states ?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 6th Jun, 2021

Hi

I am extremely sorry to tell you dear you are not eligible for 15% all India quota
This is because,
As of now Jammu and Kashmir doesn't participate in all India counselling and thus Jammu and Kashmir students are not eligible for 15% all India quota.

You can check the same on page number 8 of mcc counselling pdf which you can download through link given below
https://mcc.nic.in/UGCounselling/Documents/UGSchemeFinal.pdf

But yes,
You will jammu and Kashmir students are eligible for Aiims( as per page no 11 of the counselling pdf) and Jipmer ( as per page number 27)

SSC CGL job apni j&k state main mil jati hain ja phur bhr h milti hain

Pankhuri Kumari 8th Apr, 2021
Hii!
Not really.
Once you clear all the 4 tiers, and get selected, then, you get jobs as per the vacancies available. You do have a choice to opt for kind of job and place, but you get the post and job in the ministry or department as per the vacancies available. That could be in Jammu and Kashmir too.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!

eletcronics and instrumentation engineering-86757

mechanical engineering-73917

you can get closing rank for josaa official website: https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx
