J&K
Hi there,
I hope you are doing well.
G. B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, also known as Pantnagar University is affiliated to UGC, ICAR, and AICTE. It is a non-affiliating university, and its academic activities are organized through its nine constituent colleges. College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences is one of them.
Hope it helps.
Greetings,
If you are a domicile student of Jammu and Kashmir then with your score you can definitely get a Government college seat. J&K releases another state merit list for admissions and all domiciled J&K students get a state rank in that list based on which state colleges are allotted.
For example, the admission cut off for non reserved domicile students in 2019
was:
- ASCOMS Sidhra Jammu - 489 marks
- Government Medical College, Rajouri - 476 marks

Here I am attaching a link to the past year cut off trends which will help you get a better idea about which colleges to look for according to your state rank, whenever it is released.
You should also keep an eye out for subsequent lists as well as spot counselling which will definitely increase your chances to get one of the better colleges in J&K
best of luck, good day!
Hello Dear Student,
Yes, you are eligible for AIIMS Seats but not for 15% All India Quota Seats of other GMCs.
According to Counselling Scheme Brochure of MCC, the Candidates from the J&K Union Territory are eligible for the Counselling of following Medical Colleges:
1. All AIIMS
2. JIPMER
3. BHU
4. Deemed Universities
So according to this, you can register for MCC Counselling, but Round 1 and Round 2 Counselling process is already over and next round is Mop-up Round and the Possibilities for Vacant Seats in Mop-up Round for AIIMS, JIPMER & BHU is very low.
Please Go through the Website of MCC for more details.

Dear Student,
There are a lot of job options for Engineering students in J&K state. All the branches of engineering have vast job options here. But the most options are for Mechanical and Civil engineering branch. There are so many jobs for them. Many projects are also started by the J&K Govt. where you can work . Salary is also good. If you are a proper resident of J&K state then finding a job will be more easy for you .
Other branches like Computer Science, Information Technology, ECE etc. are also having good job options. But the number of such jobs are less. Salary is also good in these fields.
Hope this helps.

Hello Aspirant,
As you have mentioned that you are from Jammu and Kashmir and you have passed only class 12th from Rajasthan so to get admission under Rajasthan domicile you must have been the resident of Rajasthan for at least 10 years but you do not fulfil this so you have to register for CSAB Counselling under J&K domicile only. So you should submit the state of eligibility for Jammu & Kashmir.
For complete details about CSAB Counselling kindly check out the link given below :-

I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
