Dear aspirant,
Congratulations on securing 72 rank in iit jam . It's a very good rank and let me tell you there are fair chances that you will get into colleges like iit dhanbad,Madras, kharagpur, guhawati, kanpur, roorkee ,Mandi ,gandhinagar, dharwad.
However various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

Hi,
Hope you are doing great.
You have asked a good question because most of the students get confused between what should they choose for college studies or Jam. No one can answer this question better than you. You have to decide your priority first. I know it is a bit difficult. But you have to make your timetable in such a way that you will be able to devote sufficient time to both of these. If you are taking coaching, you have to make sure you are not wasting your time over there. Just put more focus on understanding and ask your doubt immediately so that your time would not get wasted. To booster, your preparation for JAM, prepare a list of important topics, cover them one by one. Solve previous year's papers and see your performance.
Hope this helps.

Hey student,
IIT JAM is a national level exam that is conducted to shortlist students for admission to MSc and integrated MSc courses offered by colleges accepting IIT JAM scores for admission. IIT JAM is jointly conducted by the IITs and Indian Institute of Science.
A student can appear for IIT JAM two times. The first attempt is in its final year and the 2nd attempt is 1 year past graduation. So for example if you are graduating in 2022, then you are eligible for IIT JAM 2022 and 2023.
All the best student,
Hope this helps you.
