Hello student as per eligibility criteria if you're from general category then you must obtain 55% marks aggregate or 5.5CGPA in last qualifying examination.
For sc/st 50 percent marks and 5cgpa is compulsory.

IIT-JAM is an entrance exam conducted by different IITs every year for admission of students in the M.Sc. program in any of the discipline in which you have pursued Bachelor's of Science.
If you have done your B.Sc through Biology subjects than also you can attempt IIT JAM and take admission for M.Sc. Biotechnology and Joint M.Sc.- Ph.D. in Atmosphere and Ocean Sciences and many more.

I hope you are doing good. As per your query, I would like to know you that at the time filling of application form , they will asked you to submit your marsheets till 4th semesters . Most of the students have their 4th sem marksheet in 3rd year . However, at the time of counselling you have to present yourself with originals of degree and marksheet at the time of form filling
