Gm ,this year do they take raw Marks or percentile for eligibility in jee advanced 2019

Hello aspirant, 

From this year onwards Due to change in rules, the Jee main exam conducting committe has started giving percentiles ,and they will consider only the percentiles for the cut offs for jee advanced, so from this year no raw marks will be considered, only percentile

Hello Jaswanth, On the basis of 2018 cutoff for IIT Madras, You need to be rank around 550 at least. Because the 2018 closing rank for mechanical department OBC category candidate was 581 and the opening rank was 269. It cant be said how much marks you should bring because

Whether you are qualifying or not completely depends upon your Caste category as your score is on the border line. The general cutoff for JEE Mains is somewhat around 80 from last two years and your score is also around that. Let's wait till the official cutoff

This year the official cutoff has not been released yet. Please wait till it gets released for confirm results. 

Your score is lower to any of the cutoff predictions yet and it is tough to qualify.

According to the previous year cutoff trends your friend's rank will be around 40000. She will be definitely eligible for JEE ADVANCED if the cutoff remains as same as previous years.

Her percentile will be around 97.5.

The NTA will release the official cutoff percentile required to qualify for JEE Advanced on 30th April 2019. However, as per our expert team, candidates having 85 percentile or above will qualify for JEE Advanced level. This is the predicted range and it may vary.
