Hello Rohit,

Even if you were in academic session 2016-2017 and despite the fact that your result  was declared in june 2017 you are fully entitled to appear for JEE advanced 2019.

There is certian eligibilty criteria which you need to endure before opting for jee advanced 2019.

JEE Main exam is being conducted twice a year for the first time by NTA therefore it would be difficult to tell you the qualifying cutoff for JEE Advanced.

Can I apply for JEE advanced 2019 for b arch when my score in JEE paper2 is good while in paper 1 is not(might not in this case )?

Hi Agrima,

JEE Main Paper 1 is for admission to B.Tech/B.E. courses while Paper 2 is for admission to B.arch and B.Planning courses. If you have qualified JEE Main Paper 1 then only you can appear for JEE Advanced Examination. The cut-off list which is prepared for JEE Advance only

With this much score of 135 marks in JEE mains examination you will easily get a good branch at NIT with the OBC-NCL category. Your AIR may lie around 69000 in general category. Just make the right selection of college in the counselling process. I hope you have

Hey shruti,

Your chances of qualifying for JEE Advanced examination is very low with this much score of 87 marks in april attempt and 80+ percentile score in january attempt. In my opinion you should give the examination again and try to give your best in that attempt.

Till there is no official declaration of cutoff percentile of jee mains 2019 for different categories ,but it is being expected that the cutoff percentile for general category will be 85 and for obc category will be above 80 but it is  not exact. So you should wait
