if you want to enter into IIT's then you should clear advance,otherwise the main is enough to get admission in NIT's and other top engineering colleges.

Niket if you're from a General Category background then without having the 75% in your intermediate secondary education you can't be able to take the admission in IIT premises and if you're from other categories like OBC / ST / SC then yaah I'm such case it will

Kritika I don't think so that it matters a lot because both are same if you look at it's Deeper way infact I consider the schooling better because with having the proper schedule and time table you can accordingly make your board and IIT JEE preparation strategies. So

If you go through the eligibility criteria then in the eligibility criteria they made  it clear that a candidate belonging to general OBC category must have 75% mark in 12th which include subjects physics chemistry mathematics one language and one any other subject therefore there is no such rule on

As per the eligibility to apply for IITs you should have minimum 75% in class 10+2. After qualifying JEE Advance with the required marks of IITs only you can get admission there.

JEE Advanced maximum marks are not defined, So, it is difficult to predict marks as exam pattern and
