Hello rohan,
The Cengage series is a bit more preferred over the Arihant series, when it comes to JEE Advanced preparation. The cengage series basically contains questions which are more helpful in giving you an exact idea of the questions which may be framed at the JEE advanced level since each question of the book requires up a different approach and logic which indirectly trains you to tackle the kind of problems that you may expect in the actual examination.
Arihant series unlike the cengage series the Arihant series is designed for both JEE mains and JEE advanced level. It too, has got a variety of questions but the difficulty level of the questions is somewhat less when it is compared with the cengage series.
You can also do something like this and prepare the following topics from the following books
Cengage: Algebra, Calculus, Coordinate geometry, Vector and 3D.
Arihant: Differential and integral calculus.
Tata McGraw Hill: Differential Calculus.
So it totally depends on you in the end which book you find yourself comfortable with.
All the best to you!
