In order to apply for IIST you have to appear for JEE Advanced exam.
To be eligible for JEE Advanced you have to qualify for JEE Main exam.
JEE Advanced application form will be out from 2nd May 2018.

If you want to do any good in IIT JEE or any exam you need to limit your study material but do that material 100%.
For Maths:-
First clear concepts than go through each and every solved example, in starting you will feel that you can solve these questions easily

Maximum Marks vary every year like below:
2017- 366
2016- 372
2015 - 504
2014 - 360
So, it is difficult to predict marks as exam pattern and marks change every year but you should score more than 30% marks
