    JEE Mains and JEE Advanced are two entrance exams for Engineering coursesconducted by CBSE  for Admission into  top IITs , IIITs and NITs.

    Now basic difference is that for IITs one has to appear for both Jee mains and Advanced. Candidate has to be amongst top 2.24 lakh

    You can get CS at newer IITs namely Patna, Jammu, Bhilai, Mandi and Jodhpur.

    For top legacy IITs like Delhi, Bombay, Madras, Kanpur the closing ranks is well under 300.

    CS hAs seen highest uptake and demand since ,top IITs have seen hummongous salaries upto2 Crore which has crrated buzz.

    Maximum Marks vary every year like below:

    2017- 366

    2016- 372

    2015 - 504

    2014 - 360

     

    So, it is difficult to predict marks as exam pattern and marks change every year.
