Hi
To be eligible for JEE advanced 2024 .The candidate should have passed 12th/equivalent examination in 2022,2023,2024. Also candidates who are appearing for 2024 board exams are also eligible.
Please note : The candidate should have given 12th board exam for the first time in the year he/she specified and the result should have been declared after JUNE 2022 . Not before June 2022 otherwise you are ineligible. Moreover IITs allow only two attempts to JEE advanced meaning if you passed 12th in 2022 and appeared for JEE advanced in 2022 and again in 2023 then you are not allowed to appear for 2024 exams.
A candidate can appear for JEE Advanced exam for maximum 2 attempts in consecutive years .
And also you can only appear for JEE advanced if you appear and qualify JEE mains.
To be eligible for JEE Advanced, the students should rank within top 2,50,000 (including all categories) in JEE Main.
You should also satisfy the educational criteria for JEE mains. This year like last year JEE has allowed all candidates irrespective of their percentage. They should have just cleared their 12th exams. Same can't be said about next year or consecutive years it depends on JEE. If they set a criteria then you would have meet those too.

Hello Buddy! Hope you're doing good.
As you're not alloted a rank in JEE Advanced Rank List. The vacant seats are reserved for SC, ST and PwD candidates, which don't get filled in the counselling will be allotted to the candidates of respective categories for admission to a preparatory course. So with your prep. rank, you might get a seat in IIT which may varies depends on the number of vacant seats available and the number of prep. rank before your rank applied for IITs. Further if there's seat available in any IIT with any branch then you will get a seat. Hope this will help you.
ALL THE BEST! WORK HARD !!
Candidates are required to qualify JEE Main 2021 or JEE Advanced 2021 to participate in JoSAA counselling 2021. As you have qualified JEE Mains you are eligible for JoSAA counselling for admissions in NITs. Candidates are required to qualify JEE Main 2021 or JEE Advanced 2021 to participate in JoSAA counselling 2021. The authorities have released the JoSAA 2021 counselling schedule at josaa.nic.in. Keep an eye on the official website for the latest information. JoSAA 2021 will be conducted in six rounds. The JoSAA seat allocation result will be released in online mode for every round.
At 2380 sc rank it is not impossible to get into top iits but yes it is tough as most of the top iits close at around 2000 sc rank but you just get one provided you fill appropriate choices also since you are talking about placement so I should tell you that even if you get an iit at that rank there is a huge possibility that you might have to settle for a lower branch in which placements might not be good but yes you can always do coding and get decently placed once you are in an iit.
