Joint Entrance Exam Advanced
Yes you might get admission in an iit though I am not sure whether it would be top iit or the new one's also it is to be taken into consideration that at this rank getting a decent branch is also tough you will probably get branches like metallurgy polymer science which are not considered good branches by the mases. But you are almost sure to get an iit may be like iit gandhinagar, iit bhu ,iit roorkee also talking about other colleges through jee advanced like rgipt so it would be better to go with iits as they offer better future opportunities.
Hello Aspirant,
According to the category rank mentioned by you in the question you have very low or almost no chances of getting into any of the IITs until and unless you deserve Female quota because the closing OBC rank for IITs were around 4-5k for Other than female quota and you are very far from the figure so you can hardly get any IIT.
But don't get disappointed because if you have good rank in JEE-Main then you can get good NITs also and you can predict the colleges which you can get from JEE-Main by using JEE-Main College Predictor :-
